
Toasted Pimento Cheese

Bread type: (Toasted)
Ingredients: Cheddar cheese, Cream cheese (optional, but suggested), grated onion, mayo, Small jar of pimentos, dash of red pepper, salt and pepper to taste
Time to make (approx): 20 minutes
Grate the cheese and mix with the cream cheese in a mixing bowl.
Grate an onion and it along with the remaining ingredients to the mixing bowl. Mix it up.
Heat a skillet over medium heat. Spread a thin layer of butter on one side of your bread. Put the bread butter side down into the skillet and cook until the bread begins to brown.
Once the bread is browned, remove it from the skillet. Spread a thick layer of pimento cheese on the bread. Top with lettuce and another slice of bread. You’re done!
